Noam Chomsky Life and Legacy
Throughout his career, Noam Chomsky has been an outspoken
critic of imperialism, oppos-ing wars in Vietnam, Israeli-Palestinian, Iraqi,
Afghan and most importantly, class warfare. His works envision a world where
society could find a middle ground between rampant, free market capitalism and
the despotic forms of communism rising in the east. His analyses criticised the
relationship between the wealthy, their governments, and global conflict, where
he noted, “history shows that, more often than not, loss of sovereignty leads
to liber-alisation imposed in the interests of the powerful.” Here’s a closer
